Love how Free Thought remains the song title on this torrent after all of these years.....please don't change it.
For the newbs - when Trey started playing "solo" songs in 5/99 he did not state the titles to many of the songs until midway through the tour (I remember Sand (fka Pistol) was not identified until 5/8/99)....
Free Thought was later titled Mozambique but Free Thought was what people took as the title from when EGA III performed it with the 8 Ft. Flourescent Tubes in 4/98. .
I really like the Phish rock band.

Since you asked...
Did Chula Vista > Tempe for some YK fasting and rnr > Tuscon > Las Cruces > Sedona hiking/climbing.
One of my best friends was in grad school in Las Cruces there beginning in fall 97. I remember the phone message when the tour dates came out "Phish is playing in my New Mexico backyard!"
Arena holds 13k.
4000 people in attendance - tops.
They moved the stage up further than mid court. So it was about 1/3 of the "floor" holding people with. Floor was GA. One of those difficult floor access routes where you needed to go through a tunnel and the seats to the floor was a big drop so the floor was relatively not crowded. Felt like 75% capacity on the floor.
The "back of the floor" was probably 200 feet from the stage so the seats at the back of the arena sounded sick. Not a bad seat in the house.
Just one of those "you snooze you lose" vibes. Band really delivered a great time for us. Whole show was pumping.
My 2nd Lagrange. Just loved the time we had there.
