I remember getting a cassette of the 2nd set way back when I was just getting into the band. Such a smooth sound, vintage May 77 stuff. Still one of my fav St Stephens with a great jam in the middle and a very enjoyable transition into a sloooow Sugar Mags.
Listen for the beginning of Fire, all of a sudden the drums just synch perfectly and puts you in a trance, right before Jerry starts his lead in. I've played that part back a million times. |
