| Do you need to get prior approval to record the Hip without getting any security hassels? |

It's always good to have some prior contact with the venue, but if you do get any hassles, just be patient and ask security to contact someone on the Hip's event staff - soundman, etc.
We actually had permission from LiveNation for this, based on approval given us by the band. And they still had to confirm at the gates! HAHAHAHAHA
