thanks Charlie! sorry I missed you last night.

there were many people running AKG 461's in '94. Unfortunately without more detailed info about the source (which we'll never have), we'll never know for sure who taped it. |

For anyone that was at this show please answer:
When they dropped the 3rd song no2
Did the phans think they were getting the
2nd gamehenge in a week?
Seems like a particularly cruel but yet
Phishy 'joke' to play |

| No, everyone in attendance knew this would be a special "hometown" show and not a repeat performance...probably why this show became a Live Phish release. |

I would think a repeat gamehenge set for
The vt pham would not be considered a repeat
Esp considering what they could do w a 2nd set.
I was not there so I ask the peeps who experienced it live
Gotta think w 40k phans
Many were eagerly awaiting whether
The saga would continue
Any others? |

Thanks for this! What a great show it was, and this will be a nice change of pace from the LivePhish release.
AKG c460b's were the go to mic for so many tapers along the way - and for good reason. Very durable and produced consistent, good sounding recordings night after night. I almost got a pair myself and at one point had a 460 body with the a61 adapter and a CK3 that I used for work. Not sure why I sold it but I wish I didn't. I always thought those mics sounded best with the A61 and the Cx series of capsules - CK2 split omnis = :)
Thanks again for the show! |
