DescriptionRamble With Phil
Phil Lesh & Friends

Terrapin Crossroads, San Rafael, CA

Source: Tascam iM2 > iPhone > WAV (44.1kHz, 16 bits) > Peak 6.20 > TRack 3 > FLAC (XLD, Tagged)

Set I:
1. The Golden Road (To Unlimited Devotion) >
2. New Speedway Boogie >
3. Crazy Fingers >
4. Tennessee Jed
5. West L.A. Fadeaway
6. So Many Roads
7. Box of Rain

Set 2:

8. jam > Help on the Way > Slipknot! >
9. Estimated Prophet >
10. Eyes of the World >
11. Dark Star >
12. Across the Universe >
13. Dark Star >
14. Morning Dew
15. Slipknot! > Franklin's Tower
16. encore break / donor rap
17. Brokedown Palace

Second set is in Mono. I have no idea what happened there, sorry about that. This was a hard one to record, the crowd was really loud and boisterous and I moved around a lot trying to get a good spot. There is some wind noise from the AC at the end of the 2nd set. Great show though! Hopefully a better source of this will circulate some day! Phil please release the boards!

I have used the iM2 device before and had the same issue going to MONO. I realized someone had bump the mic out of the pinport. Of course I just pushed it back in. I tested this occurrence a few times and found out you need to restart the recording program over, sometimes rebooting the iPhone. I will use Tascam recorder or FiRe app. I once lost audio during a stream(had no idea) and you need to restart from the beginning if streaming. (Note: The mono issue did not happen every time but 7 out of 10 times it did) Thanks for the sounds!

Yes I've noticed sometimes it turns on in mono mode and you have to keep restarting the phone. It's never just decided to switch in between sets before, perhaps it got bumped. Teaches me to check at the beginning of the set. The sound quality is a lot worse on the 2nd set in addition to being mono, but as far as I know this is the only source out there at the moment...

Any advice for a first timer? What software do i need to download this show to my computer and play/burn it? It was a very fun show, and at times sounded like "King Crimson plays the Grateful Dead" Loved it :) Many Thanks

Since it's on archive now, may be easiest to listen to there:

Here you need to figure out Bittorrent and FLAC files, both of which aren't necessarily that easy to do right, though there are plenty of sites that explain the details.
