| thanks for the fresh transfer at 48kHz Lenny! I'm way more of a Phish head but i love hearing about some nice latter day Dead audience tapes since 99% of the Dead i've heard is SBD. most of the audience tapes i've heard from pre-late 80s are pretty cringe-inducing and faint to my spoiled ears. |

digs I posted the Philly runs in 88 and 89 that I love as well. These guys got it done right. I agree there have been a LOT of audiences made at GD shows over the years that have been enough to drive the entire scene away from auds, but these Mattes sources are not it. As we've discussed, I like being AT the shows, and the sterile lifeless boards are not a fun listen for me.
More of this stuff to come. Check out these runs on the LMA though:

thanks. have not seen this source yet. I ran my senn 441's from the 10th row center... and (the only time) I had my maxell MX 100 pile up in my marantz, which stopped durung NFA and I pulled the cassette out with about 10' of tape dangling, twisted and crunched. so, i have been searching for another excellent aud source of this for 23+ years. it was one of my favorite dead shows that i ever saw...they were rough, wild, and out there. Brent went off on blow waya, jumping on to his piano bench screaming, Jerry and Phil looked, chuckled and just flat out jammed.

Text and tags need to be update for drumz, space, wheel, watchtower. Tracking is spot on I just spaced on the Setlist. FFP is good to go, which is why I only include an FFP.
Last time I post a show late at night. Was up putting extra time to get this one just exactly perfect. |

| Can's say enough about this show - especially the second set. I'd love to see a matrix of this one. |
